SIASP FAQ
Can I join with zero Arabic knowledge?
Yes. Track A (Beginner → Elementary) is specifically designed for complete beginners. The Arabic alphabet is taught as part of the program during the first two weeks.
What level will I reach after SIASP?
Track A students reach CEFR B1 / ACTFL Intermediate-Mid upon completing both midterm and final exams. This is equivalent to approximately 150 hours of intensive instruction.
What is the maximum class size?
SIASP classes are limited to a maximum of 10–15 students. Small groups ensure individual attention and rapid progress.
When is the application deadline?
Full payment must be received before June 15, 2026 to secure your place. We recommend applying at least 8 weeks before the program starts.
Is accommodation included?
Accommodation is not included in the $1,700 fee. Saifi can provide guidance and recommendations for apartments and guesthouses in Beirut's Achrafieh neighborhood.
Do I need health insurance?
Health insurance is required. Students must present a scanned copy of their insurance policy at reception before commencing the course. Saifi is not responsible for health insurance during your stay.
Can I combine Urban Arabic and Formal Arabic?
Yes. Some students combine Urban Arabic (Track A or B) with Formal Arabic (Track C) in their daily schedule. This requires a higher workload and is recommended for highly motivated students.
